About Your Skills Marketing Strategy:&nbsp;You develop and implement comprehensive plans to allocate resources effectively, increase sales, and achieve competitive advantage by connecting organizational capabilities with customer needs across B2C and B2B markets in Japan, leveraging both Udemy and Benesse strengths. Campaign Planning: You create comprehensive strategies to achieve long-term marketing objectives by coordinating activities, resources, and phases across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion while aligning Udemy and Benesse initiatives. Demand Generation: You design and implement targeted marketing programs that drive awareness and interest in our products and services for both consumer and business audiences, creating measurable impact on pipeline growth and customer acquisition through strategic collaboration with Benesse. About This Role As a Senior Marketing Manager based in Japan, you will serve as the key strategic liaison between Udemy and our partner Benesse, ensuring both organizations are aligned on strategy and execution. You will lead comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth across both B2C and B2B markets, managing complex campaigns and events while optimizing the collaboration between Udemy and Benesse teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape our marketing approach in the Japanese market through this critical partnership, developing innovative strategies that leverage the unique strengths of both organizations to expand reach and maximize impact. What You'll Be Doing <ul> <li>Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Udemy and Benesse teams, ensuring alignment on marketing strategy, objectives, and execution across Japan, Korea, and Vietnam</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team across B2C and B2B in Japan, Korea and Vietnam while fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and exceptional results</li> <li>Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that leverage both Udemy and Benesse resources to drive growth across B2C and B2B segments</li> <li>Plan, coordinate, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively integrate Udemy and Benesse capabilities to reach target audiences</li> <li>Design and implement demand generation programs that create qualified leads and accelerate pipeline growth through strategic partnership initiatives</li> <li>Execute end-to-end event management including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and customer events that showcase the combined value of Udemy and Benesse offerings</li> <li>Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between Udemy and Benesse teams to ensure seamless execution and mutual success</li> <li>Build and nurture additional strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, vendors, and regional partners to amplify marketing impact in the Japanese, Korean and Vietnam markets</li> <li>Analyze campaign performance and partnership effectiveness to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI on marketing investments across both organizations</li> <li>Manage marketing budgets and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact across all initiatives while ensuring optimal utilization of both Udemy and Benesse investments</li> </ul> What You'll Have <ul> <li>7+ years of marketing experience in Japan with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for both B2C and B2B markets</li> <li>3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing marketing teams, with demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and driving team performance</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in managing strategic partnerships and serving as a liaison between multiple organizations with complex stakeholder relationships</li> <li>Strong background in demand generation with measurable results in lead generation and pipeline growth across consumer and business markets through partnership initiatives</li> <li>Extensive experience in event execution and management, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and customer engagement events</li> <li>Experience building and managing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships in the Japanese business environment, preferably with educational or technology companies&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven ability to lead cross-organizational initiatives and align diverse teams toward shared objectives and outcomes</li> <li>Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize marketing performance across partnership channels</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams across multiple organizations in a cross-cultural environment</li> </ul> Posting Date:&nbsp;April 28, 2026 Application Window: We anticipate the application window will be open until May 20, 2026.
