The Senior Design Researcher will be a key partner responsible for planning and executing a research roadmap that directly informs the development of our Pearl platform. You will run mixed-methods research, blending deep qualitative inquiry with quantitative analysis (including user engagement metrics) across exploratory, generative, and evaluative topics, to uncover actionable insights and influence decision-making. You will be embedded alongside our customer-facing product teams, working in close collaboration with product designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to maintain a deep, holistic understanding of our users and their needs. To be successful in this role you will: Define and Prioritize Research: Partner with your cross-functional counterparts to identify and prioritize key learning goals that align with the product roadmap and team objectives. Drive Mixed-Methods Research: Design and execute a continuous stream of research (exploratory, generative, and evaluative) that balances rigor and speed, selecting the right methodology – qualitative, quantitative, or mixed – and the right approach – moderated or unmoderated – for the right questions.
