About the Role
Apply Description Vistra is seeking a UX Researcher (Training & Education) with expert understanding of user experience research to design and refine training courses and learning materials related to prevention of sexual assault and other harmful behaviors in the military. Design evaluation plans, assessment tools, and performance metrics to improve engagement with and effectiveness of learning experiences Assess training and products using techniques such as usability testing, user interviews, and surveys Collect and analyze user/learner data to improve and revise training, programs, and policies Employe engaging facilitation techniques to diverse stakeholders (e.g., employees, Service members, military leaders) Work independently, with some guidance, to develop clear and compelling training tools and communication products that meet learner needs and are reflective of the military environment Prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Provide clear verbal and written communications to a variety of stakeholders in alignment with DoD style expectations Perform other tasks as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of directly related experience Experience integrating UX or human-centered design research, particularly related to training, into design and development Ability to critically think, examine complex issues, and identify gaps and possible solutions/improvements to problems Experience assessing training and products using techniques like usability testing, user interviews, and surveys Experience collecting and analyzing user/learner data to improve and revise training, programs, and policies Experience employing engaging facilitation techniques to diverse stakeholders (e.g., employees, Service members, military leaders) Ability to obtain a security clearance Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a military environment Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and program evaluation methodology
