VIDEO EDITOR II As a Video Editor at SpaceX, you will take a lead role in enhancing the quality and impact of our video content. Your extensive experience in video editing, creative vision, and strategic insights will contribute to crafting compelling narratives for the future of space exploration. In this role you will collaborate with designers, artists, and project leads to conceptualize, and create engaging visual content with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Translate business needs into strong visual creative at both the conceptual and execution level. Provide strategic leadership in video editing and implementing a vision to elevate the overall quality of SpaceX's video content, particularly for major missions and projects. Lead the editing process for major space missions, ensuring a seamless and captivating narrative that highlights key moments with technical excellence. Apply color grading techniques to footage to enhance visual storytelling and ensure consistency and continuity of color throughout the entire project. Work closely with project leads to bring a higher level of artistic and technical proficiency to the storytelling and video editing process. Take charge of crafting video content showcasing the transformative impact of SpaceX on the future of space exploration while maintaining a professional and polished aesthetic. Collaborate closely with Cinematographers, Producers, and other cross-functional teams, providing professional expertise to ensure cohesive storytelling to elevate the overall production value. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience as a video editor. Experience working for global clients and brands
